Single player campaign mode
This campaign is dedicated to the soldiers on the ground and in the air in Afganastan. With the game play ranging from stealthy sniping to carrying a full out arsenal out onto the battle field, you will notice that the game play will change as you play throughout the game. Some of the missions on this game will require a itchy trigger finger others will require patience and stealthyness and a good eye for specific things. You control the Tier1 operations as the handle certain missions that the general army cannot, but in order to beat those difficult missions you will have to join forces and fight as one.

Tier1 mode
While the extra challenge of adding leader boards, slow health regeneration, limited ammo and timed runs through the levels of the single player campaign is a cool element to add replay ability, something about turning the campaign into an arcade experience takes away from the reverence and realism found in the main story.
When you're rushing through a level taking risky melee shots and trying to head shot people as quickly as possible, it loses its realism. And with every enemy popping up in exactly the same place, it turns into an experiment in memorization and luck. You still have to witness story segments in this mode, but all you can think of during those moments are your times on the clock and when they'll stop talking.
The mode is indeed difficult, as your health doesn't regenerate as fast and you are no longer able to ask for ammunition from your AI counterparts. It only takes a few shots to bring you down and it's a matter of figuring out how to save the most time, as a head shot will subtract several seconds from the timer as well as melee kills and kill streaks.
